Would The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11034 Fit A 2002 Chevy Corvette With Aftermarket Exhaust
Updated 06/03/2024 | Published 05/28/2024 >
Question:
Hello, Im looking at purchasing this hitch, however, my Corvette C5 is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system. Right off the bat I know Ill have to modify the exhaust a bit since theres a plate in between that ties both sets of tips together. Another potential issue is that theres about 3 inches of space between the two inner tips. Do you know if this could possibly fit? I have attached a picture of the exhaust tip area.

Hi Erick,
Based on the photo you provided installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11034 would likely require you to remove the aftermarket exhaust and reinstall the factory exhaust in order to fit. This hitch simply sits to close to the frame because of the low clearance and would need to sit right where the exhaust currently is.
