Nice addition, very easy installation done it all by myself less than 2 hrs. Biggest problem was removing the exhaust....etrailer makes a great aftermarket trailer hitches for Corvettes...

I ordered two Curt hitches for my 2004 Corvette and Volvo XC70. Both have proved to be very good for supporting my Thule bike rack. The install priced to be very easy thanks to the construction and included instructions. I am looking for Nother hitch and will be using a Curt hitch. M
Trailer Hitch receiver for Corvette was difficult to install as a do it yourself project but it is done! I think etrailer should provide 4 fish wires rather than 2. There are four 18 mm bolts thus 4 fish wires are needed. I picked up two from a friend in the business and all went well! The video etrailer provides is correct...you do need to remove the exhaust mufflers to install their hitch! Impossible to do as the written instructions depict! If your doing the install yourself for the first time you need a floor jack, jack stands, a powerful drill and lots of patience! The fish wires can be difficult! But, hang in there and you can get it done!
The hitch is well made and basicly easy to install. I made a templet from 1/8 plywood to layout my holes. however, due to my Bola exhaust, I could not install the hitch pin. I solved the problom by drilling and taping another hitch pin hole (1/2 -18) I used two short 1/2 " bolts on each side in place of the hitch pin. Works great. Hope this helps others.
Very nice quality. Got here fast. Installed ok. Need to adjust the aftermarket exhaust because when you give it gas it starts banging on the receiver. No biggie, just an FYI, so you don't repeat my mistakes and bring the exhaust within millimeters of the hitch receiver.

This hitch fit perfectly on the frame of my 2001 Corvette. It was an easy install. You don't need to remove the exhaust just remove the bolts that hold it up at the end.

You’re gonna love this! I put the hitch on my Corvette to haul a small luggage trailer on long trips. The hitch works great!
Bought the Hitch and wiring kit for a 2002 Z06 C5 Vette. This Hitch fit perfect and cleared the exhaust without any issues at all. The instructions and the video gave me the confidence to go do it myself. Took about 1.5 hours had one muffler clamp the the nut was stripped so it took time to cut it off and work through that issue. Used a strap to pull the exhaust back and that made drilling all the holes easy.
I have always enjoyed my shopping experience with etrailer. This hitch does exactly what it said it would do. Even though I am in Canada the shipment came extremely quickly.

Poor service
Well made product IF it fit. The width of this hitch is good, but, when I went to install it I found it didn’t work. The c5 model has a little V shape to it where the hitch should bolt and the hitch doesn’t fit flush. If I were to install it the hitch would have a downward angle. So, I’m sending it back. I have gotten many great products from this company. This is the first miss. :-(
Installed on 2000 corvette Easy Installation Good product Priced right. Plan on pulling motorcycle trailer with it.
Works well for bicycle rack behind 2004 C5 Corvette convertible, for added practicality!
Look good the sticker got damaged i figure in shipping but looks good not install it yet
