Question:
Does the sumo springs help with the jerking/chucking on an RV.
asked by: Norman D
Expert Reply:
While the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV are primarily designed to assist the leaf springs on the trailers and smoothen out the road shock being transferred from the wheels to the trailer it will only have a minimal impact on jerking and chucking.
The best way to help with chucking and jerking is with a Cushioned Hitch # SHK29VR or Pin Box # MR94VR depending on your application. If you can tell me what trailer you have along with the truck and method of towing you are currently using I can help you with more application specific options to help you get a less stressful ride.

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500 short bed Duramax diesel, I have a fifth wheel hitch and air bags on my truck, the RV is a Genesis toy hauler and it 34 foot long, it came with a curt roto flex pin box, I am thing the best rout is to go with a shock kit for the RV? Thanks let me know what you think.
