You're on the highway when a strong crosswind hits and your trailer starts to sway. It's the kind of trouble that's flipped plenty of rigs. These rubber springs absorb that shove, keeping the trailer steady and your truck in control.
When you're towing, small shifts in weight can make your trailer move more than you expect. You feel it through the steering, and the ride starts to feel unsettled. The Timbren SES suspension kit fastens to your trailer's leaf packs to absorb that movement and carry part of the load. When weight shifts or bumps cause your trailer to move, these springs dampen the motion altogether, so it doesn't transfer to the tow vehicle. That means your trailer isn't controlling your truck anymore. The suspension is absorbing that movement, and you don't have to correct your steering as often.
Storage totes slide around and dishes rattle when your trailer starts to bounce on rough roads. These rubber springs adjust as weight changes to cut that extra motion down. When your trailer is light, they stay flexible. As the load increases and the springs compress, they stiffen to keep your trailer level and limit how much it leans or shifts on uneven ground. The rubber becomes a cushion between your frame and leaf springs, taking the shock out of bumps and potholes.
These brackets fasten to the leaf pack and hold the rubber springs in place. Once everything's in place and torqued down, there's nothing to adjust or keep up with. Each bracket is laser cut, formed to fit, and powder coated to keep salt and rain from rusting the steel.
If you've ever worked with older suspension kits that required drilling or awkward alignment, you know how quickly a simple install could drag out. This one skips all that. The brackets bolt to each other and sandwich the spring between the frame and leaf spring. You only need basic hand tools, and once the bolts are torqued, the job's done. Most people finish in about thirty minutes and tow the same day.
Even though you're increasing the spring rate by adding this upgrade, this does not increase the trailer's GTW (Gross Trailer Weight). Please make sure that the load does not exceed the GTW set by the manufacturer.

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Timbren RV Trailer Suspension Enhancement System for Underslung Axles. Now, this is gonna be rated for 7,000 pounds capacity, and the Aeon spring delivers a progressive spring rate. As load increases, the springs push back harder. That's gonna eliminate the RV trailer squat, sway, and roll, provide a safer, smoother ride. And these are made of natural rubber properties, so the Aeon springs also cushion road shock, reducing those hard hits on your trailer from driving on bumps and dips.
And overall, it's just gonna improve your handling. It is a DIY installation. It's a zero post-installation maintenance. So I mean, once you get this installed one time, you don't have to do anything else, whereas airbags and those kind of things, you gotta, you know, increase the air, deflate, et cetera, et cetera. And they're gonna look something like this whenever they are assembled, before they're put on the vehicle, just to give you an idea what they look like assembled.
And these work with RV trailers with an underslung suspension with leaf spring pack widths less than 2 1/4 inches. And then you need to make sure the distance between two parallel U-bolts outside to outside is less than 3 1/4 inches. Now, these are gonna work for axles diameter between 1 3/4 to 3 1/2 inches wide max. And again, folks, the max capacity of this kit is rated at 7,000 pounds. So a lot of people I've seen over the years have bought, you know, kits like this or even airbags, and they think that adds more weight to your vehicle.
That's not the case at all. So don't be confused by that at all. All this does is enhancing, and this is made to hold 7,000 pounds, meaning it's going to help you up to 7,000 pounds worth of support on your load-carrying capacity. So again, you're not adding to your overall, you're just helping support 7,000 pounds of what you're rated for. So if you have any more questions about that and how it works or anything else on this product or anything else we carry at etrailer, reach out to us.
We'd love to help you out and answer any questions. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
