Question:
I bought the JR Products 10635 socket or pivoting door holder as a replacement for the fold down windows on my horse trailer. It is an older model Exis trailer. The plunger will go in the socket, but it is really, really tight. you have to really pull on the window to get it out. I dont know if its just new and has to get some exposure to the elements and break in or if its the wrong size. I dont see but one size in that product. What would you recommend for horse trailers? Thanks.

Thans for reaching out, John!
The Pivoting Door Holder Receiver # 37210635 is a replacement for the Pivoting Plunger and Socket Door Holder # 37210645 which could be part of the issue if you're using the original plunger. The socket door holder being brand new is definitely a contributing factor as well though.
I recommend using what you have for now and seeing if normal wear eventually breaks in the door holder, and if it doesn't you can get the whole kit so you know you have something that's designed to work together.
