Now, this is the replacement nylon socket for the plunger and nylon socket door holder. And for your convenience, I am including our item numbers of the plunger and nylon socket door holder that this is going to work with. Let me go ahead and retrieve my ruler here and just give you some measurements that might prove helpful for you.

The overall diameter is sitting right at 1 3/8 inches. And then that inner circle is sitting right at, line that up here for you, looks like we're sitting right at an inch there on that, the measurement of that inner circle. And then the hole diameter itself, we are sitting right at, looks like we're sitting right at a quarter of an inch. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. Replacement for down windows. There are really tight, thepin on window goes in fine, removing to close window can be a struggle.

Still works great but I wish it would hold the windows down while driving sometimes not all the time they pop out.

It’s ok. It just barely holds the door. I bought it as a replacement to one that was on the camper when I bought it. I see why they didn’t take the time to replace it as everything else is brand new. If you slightly bump it then it’ll pop out. I can’t imagine it standing against any type of wind. However if you don’t have wind and your not clumsy then it does as described.

After a year, still working great. Does what it’s designed to do.

This is a replacement item so the rest of the hardware should be on the door, as should the original holes in the body.
One center screw to hold it lightly in place, line up it up the insert peg / ball on the door, then fully tighten the screw, and you're done!
Replaced the originals from 25 years ago...back to new!

This is just a replacement socket. If you are looking for the plunger too you would need this part #DH604. Still, no screws are provided.

I purchased several of these sockets and all but one has worked with no issue. The one that does not hold the trailer door open is at a corner and the wind catches the door. That is most likely the issue.

This part can also be used on windows and measures 7/8 of an inch tall. For a socket door holder and plunger you will want part # DH604.   • Replacement Nylon Door Sockets DH605 For A Horse Trailer
    The two sockets # DH38S and # DH600S are not interchangeable, unfortunately. Both of these will work the same and both will do a great job holding the windows open, however, since you mentioned you have DH605, you'll need the Replacement Nylon Socket for DH604 and DH605 # DH600S. If you wanted to swap out the entire assembly to the rubber sockets, you'll need the Plastic Stem and Rubber Socket Door Holder # DH39R.

  • What Size Does the Plunger Need To Be To Use the Replacement Nylon Socket
    The diameter of the plunger that the Replacement Nylon Socket part # DH600S is designed to fit will be around 1/2" give or take 1/8". The plunger must be larger than the opening on the socket in order to hold it in place. That said, in order to make sure you get an exact fit it would be best to just replace both the socket and plunger with part # DH604 for 1" or part # DH605 or 2".

  • Will a Plunger that is 19/32" in Diameter Fit with the Replacement Nylon Socket # DH600S
    Since the hole diameter of the Replacement Nylon Socket # DH600S 1/4" I recommend just getting the whole kit to ensure they work together properly. We have part # DH604 which has a 1" long plunger and part # DH605 which has a 2" long plunger.
