Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a real quick look at this replacement nylon socket. Now, this is the replacement nylon socket for the plunger and nylon socket door holder. And for your convenience, I am including our item numbers of the plunger and nylon socket door holder that this is going to work with. Let me go ahead and retrieve my ruler here and just give you some measurements that might prove helpful for you.
The overall diameter is sitting right at 1 3/8 inches. And then that inner circle is sitting right at, line that up here for you, looks like we're sitting right at an inch there on that, the measurement of that inner circle. And then the hole diameter itself, we are sitting right at, looks like we're sitting right at a quarter of an inch. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. Exact replacement to the factory supplied. Fresh look and improved ability to hold door. I like this so much more than the 'T' style holder seen in older trailers. Acts as a bumper too!

Worked just as I had hoped for securing the drop down windows on our horses trailer!

Replacement for down windows. There are really tight, thepin on window goes in fine, removing to close window can be a struggle.
Very easy to replace and was good quality. Fast shipping.

Still works great but I wish it would hold the windows down while driving sometimes not all the time they pop out.
The nylon socket is an exact replacement for those used on EXISS trailers providing an easy means to remove and replace old, weathered sockets on the trailer that no longer secure the windows or doors when they are opened.

It’s ok. It just barely holds the door. I bought it as a replacement to one that was on the camper when I bought it. I see why they didn’t take the time to replace it as everything else is brand new. If you slightly bump it then it’ll pop out. I can’t imagine it standing against any type of wind. However if you don’t have wind and your not clumsy then it does as described.

Still working and holding the door as firmly as the day I installed it. It is not showing signs of wear or becoming brittle. Good product, glad I bought it here.
I needed replacement sockets for my 2003 horse trailer, and these are exactly like the original sockets for holding my doors and windows in place while open.
I received them in the mail within a week of ordering.

They are working out great. Still in excellent shape and hold the windows open on our horse trailer.
Works great as a direct replacement for older, dried and cracking retainers.

After a year, still working great. Does what it’s designed to do.
This is a replacement item so the rest of the hardware should be on the door, as should the original holes in the body.
One center screw to hold it lightly in place, line up it up the insert peg / ball on the door, then fully tighten the screw, and you're done!
Replaced the originals from 25 years ago...back to new!
Excellent inventory of hard to find horse trailer parts and excellent customer service....their shipping was super fast!
I purchased several of these sockets and all but one has worked with no issue. The one that does not hold the trailer door open is at a corner and the wind catches the door. That is most likely the issue.
This is just whit I was looking for could not find them at trailer store needed them for drop down windows on horse trailer so glad to find them
I was a little disappointed to see that the proper screws were not included in the package. I will go find some when I have time.

This is just a replacement socket. If you are looking for the plunger too you would need this part #DH604. Still, no screws are provided.
