Question:

I am asking about AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K hubs. My hubs are from an older trailer it has 1 inch spindler and it is only 4 1/4 inches long from base to end of threads. I would like to know if these will fit? my old one if I measure the inside of the hub from seat to seat is 3inches so its a short hub. Thanks Tom

Tom, the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K are going to work with BT8 spindles like # TRU59FR which have a diameter of 1 3/8" and an overall length of 8 1/4" so it's not going to work with your current spindles.

Your best bet would be to replace the entire axle with one that has more common sized spindles because I'd highly doubt you're going to find anything that works with those spindles.

If you let me know the capacity of your axles, the spring seat center to spring seat center, and the hub face to hub face measurements below, I'd be happy to find something for you.
