@PatZ Can you let me know the axle capacity of your trailer? I wasn't able to find that and that's the info I need. I am pretty sure you have 3,500 lb axles which would be 2-3/8 inch in diameter but you'd need to verify this. If this is true the correct bearing kit would be the part # BK2-100.

Jeff, I believe that is an older TDE hub which would mean that the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles #AKIHUB-545-35-K is the correct replacement.

No, the 1.063" ID #L44649 bearings cannot replace the 1.00" ID #L44643 bearings as they are too large like you mentioned; you'll need to use the #L44643.

From previous customers with your hub we have found the BT100 hub to be one that has bearing numbers L44643 for the inner and outer bearings. So for a hub that will fit and has the right bolt pattern you'd need the part #AKIHUB-440-2-1K.

You can use the Timken Grease and Oil Seal #TMK98ZR in place of the Grease Seal #GS-2250DL. While they are not exactly the same seal construction it is still a double lip design and the dimensions are the same so they are going to fit correctly.
