Determining if 2021 Ram 2500 Has OEM Prep for Picking Out Gooseneck

Question:

I just bought a 2021 RAM 2500 Bighorn crew cab short bed to pull a 5th wheel which is setup for the Anderson gooseneck mount 3220. I dont think this truck has a factory prep package but Im not sure what that is. Can you explain what is meant by without factory prep?

Hey Ted, so if you look in the bed of your truck and see 5 holes/pucks that would mean you have the OEM prep. I'd assume if you had it you'd have seen them by now. If you had it you'd only need a ball like the part # C60618.

If you don't have it you'd need a gooseneck hitch like the B and W part # BWGNRK1320 and you'd be set.
