Clamps to Install Surco Safari 5.0 Rack to 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon Raised Rails

Question:

Hi Im trying to figure out if the Clamp-On Adapters for Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket will fit on the factory mounted rails of my 2022 Subaru outback wilderness edition. I already have a basket from a previous vehicle and Im hoping theres a way to fit it to my current set up. I already attempted to use the Thule mounts but their track system doesnt fit into the slot rail on the basket. To me it looks like the profile of the clamp might not secure properly to my rails, they have a weird angled profile rather than being square like most other vehicles. Ive included a side profile of the Thule clamp for comparison.

Surco hasn't officially come out with a fit for your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon but the raised rails are similar throughout the years so you won't have any issues with the Clamp-On Adapters # SP1101 fitting your vehicle!
