Is this hitch compatible with the 2021 Volvo xc60 recharge PHEV with air-suspension? Will it interfere with the foot activated tailgate? thanks

Leif, yes the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT82GR will work just fine with your 2021 Volvo XC60 Recharge PHEV w/ air suspension.
To install this hitch, you are going to need to temporarily remove the bumper/fascia for trimming and permanently remove the impact structure which the hitch will replace.
