Hey Andrew,

Yes, the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT82GR will require trimming of the fascia, but you can typically go a bit tighter than what the directions really call for. Conner unfortunately doesn't show it in his installation video but the instructions show having to cut the fascia for the receiver tube to stick out. In his video it looks like he trimmed the outer portion of the fascia and not the inner black air dam portion like they show in the instructions.

I try to be a perfectionist and cut it to exactly what I need for the hitch to poke through without any large gaps, but this means I spend way more time trimming a little, test fitting the bumper, trimming more, and so on until I get it exactly how I want it. If you just want to follow the instructions and cut the 9.5" x 4.5" hole like the instructions say no one will likely even be able to see the hole besides a mechanic working under your car.
