Comparing Hidden Hitch and Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch Receivers For a Volvo XC90

I am looking to purchase a hitch for my Volvo XC90. Between the two, which do you recommend: Draw-tite hidden hitch or the stealth hitch?

Personally I prefer the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH27FRT over the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite # DT82GR. Both these are confirmed to fit the 2016-2022 model years of the Volvo XC90. The Stealth Hitches receiver is made in the USA and I find has a much better quality. They use a durable stainless steel block for the connection parts under the rear fascia which I feel will last over the years versus the powder coated steel the Draw-Tite uses. Do note the Stealth Hitches includes both a 2" receiver and a ball mount with a 2" hitch ball and the wiring for a 7-way or 4-way trailer connector. This wiring will require you to have the features turned on by a service center as they tie into the factory computer.

The Draw-Tite does not include an wiring so you will need a separate Harness # 118683 which will get you a 4-way flat connector. Do note the Draw-Tite is also only rated for up to 350lbs of tongue weight and 3,500lbs towing while the Stealth Hitches is rated for up to 600lbs tongue weight and 6,000lbs towing. Do be sure to not exceed the maximum rating for your XC90 from Volvo.
