In Cab Trailer Brake Controller For a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas With Factory 7-Way

Question:

I have a 2022 VW Atlas that has the seven pin connection in the back and I’d like to add a wired brake controller. I’ve been using a Prodigy wireless controller but it keep losing connection and I’d like more piece of mind. Can you recommend a product for me?

We do have the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C29JR which will allow you to use a Curt brake controller like the Assure # C49UR which is one of the better proportional controllers like your Tekonsha Prodigy wireless trailer brake controller. The connector for the custom wiring adapter is located behind the left kick panel under the dash on your 2022 VW Atlas with the factory 7-way.
