Question:

Hi, Im trying to decide between the draw-tite and the Curt hitch for my 2023 bolt euv. I will mainly use as a bike rack and possibly as a cargo carrier. Weight shouldnt exceed 200 lbs. Which do you recommend?

Hello Ben. I've gotta level with you. The Draw-Tite # DT64GR and the Curt # C38DR hitches for the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV are virtually identical. Sometimes the Curt and Draw-Tite versions of hitches will have some differences such as a different coating or some minor design differences. In the case of the 2023 Bolt EUV hitches they use the exact same design and the same powder coating.

The only noteworthy difference is that the Curt hitch is made here in the USA while the Draw-Tite is not. Both are known to be good quality so if it were up to me, I would select whatever hitch is priced lower which currently appears to be the Draw-Tite. It has a 300 lb tongue weight rating so it will be perfect for a bike rack or cargo carrier.
