Will this work with the Yakima HD cross bars without need to purchase mounting different clamps?

Hi there Abe, thanks for the question and the answer is yes. Yakima HD crossbars are 100% compatible with and allow you to mount the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket # Y07138-08.
I verified with Yakima that you will not need any type of adapter or other clamps, the OffGrid will work with the HD bars as-is.
