Can 60" Yakima Crossbars Fit On A 2024 Subaru Ascent

Do Yakima 60inch HD bars really fit onto 2024 Subaru Ascent? Want to make sure as I was told 60inch Thule wingbar Evo do not fit Ascent. Thanks

The mounting tracks on the bottom of Thule crossbars don't extend the full length of the crossbar so a 60" crossbar wouldn't have a long enough track to mount to your Ascent. Yakima crossbars are designed with a full track on the bottom so you can put longer crossbars on without issue.

The Yakima HD Crossbars # Y01157 you were looking at are beefy and are more so used for the bed of a truck. If you're looking for something that will be a bit slimmer to help with gas mileage and noise then you could go with Yakima's Jetstream Crossbars # Y00426 along with TimberLine Towers # Y33TR.

With these being 60" in length you'll definitely have more overhang so you'll want watch your head when getting in and out of the vehicle.
