Question:
Hi, my trailer has 2 50a shore power connections, which I can alternate depending on the power pedestal location or plugging in a generator. I would like to install an automatic transfer switch between the two inputs and a go power ic3000, which then feeds the coach. I looked at your information on the PD52V, but would have to mount horizontal, which your FAQ states should not be done. Any other options/suggestions? Thank you

Hello Andrew. You are correct that the # PD52 cannot be mounted horizontally. An alternative would be to use the Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch # F50ATS. This is a very similar 50 amp transfer switch and it does not have any such mounting position restrictions. Furrion just recommend that you find a secure, indoor mounting location that will be sheltered from the elements. You will find the instructions for this transfer switch linked below.
