What Wire Needs to be Connected to Terminal 1 On the ICX Transmitter Relay
Updated 04/10/2024 | Published 04/09/2024 >
Question:
I have 2018 F150 with neutral tow. I have the older version Roadmaster Even Tow. I have installed the 88400 brake light relay using the “B” instructions on page 3 using the blue wire. My question is what wire do I use to go to the “terminal 1” on the ICX transmitter from the relay. I’m thinking it’s the blue also but want to make sure Thanks

Hey Rick, you are correct the blue brake output wire would also need to be connected to terminal 1 for the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.

So on the diagram figure 3 the brake signal out is connected to the icx terminal 1. After all is hooked up and functioning. Once the motor home is moved and motor home brake pedal depressed. Even break responds to deceleration of the motor home. Then after each time the motor home break is depressed. The icx terminal 1 would get voltage to activate the easy break to press the towed break. Correct? Not an easy way to pre test this other than to try? I’m just trying to make sure I have everything hooked up correctly
