I have a 16k Reese slider hitch RP30051 that I used in an 2009 Ford F250. Will the installation kit RP5601-53 make it work in my 2022 Ford F350 SRW? Also, I would like a 7-pin wiring adapter, but it doesn’t need to be nearly 9’ long. Is there a shorter one for my truck? Thanks!

Hey Tim, the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56001-53 you mention is actually not going to work with your 2022 Ford F-250.
Instead, you're going to have to use the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552031-71 which will work with both your F-250 and your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051.
Also, for the wiring harness the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness for Aluminum Truck Bed # 50-97-410-010 is meant to be routed from the back of your truck to the truck bed which is why it's so long. If you were looking for something shorter you'd want the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 74682 which would basically replace the OEM connector.
If you don't have any trailer wiring then you'd need the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM11140755 and the Universal Trailer Brake Install Kit # ETBC7.

Hi Bryce, Reese doesn’t offer a kit like this for my truck?Just to make sure, I have a 2022 F-350 not a F-250. The Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit works in a F-350 too?
