Will The 50 Amp Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU27FR Work With Both 15 and 30 Amp Adapters?

Question:

I am looking to purchased the Hughes 50 amp Watchdog HU27FR. I know it will work when hooked to the campground pedistal with either 30 or 50 amp service. My question is: When at home I keep camper 2020 Solitude 310GK plugged into a standard 15 amp 110v circuit I use 50 amp to 15 amp reducer plug just to keep the lights on and batteries charged. Will the reduction to 15 amps be ok to use with the hardwired 50 amp Watchdog or cause problems when doing so?

Yes, you can use the Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU27FR with both your 30-amp and the 15-amp adapters. The system will show that the 2nd lines are not receiving power but you will still get the surge protection and voltage monitoring protection from the unit.
