What is the heaviest capacity DandL winch that can be used with the DandL drill adapter? Thanks

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL15721 is their highest capacity DLB series winch with rated capacity of 2,500lbs. You would then need the Removable Handle Kit # DL6454 along with the Drill Drive Socket Adapter # DL6456 to use a drill to operate the winch.

I see the 15721 does not free wheel and needs a minimum of 175 pounds. As I am 165 # it appears that it will be very difficult to unwind and connect to the boat. Is there one that will free wheel out and use the drill adapter? Patrick

@PatrickW The Drill Drive Socket Adapter # DL6456 can only be used on their brake winches which do not free spool. We do have the 1,500LB Winch # DL14964 which only requires 75lbs of load.
