Why Won't The Curt Front Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31017 Fit a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie?

Hello. Regarding your Curt Front Hitch C31017. Will it fit a 2006, Dodge Ram 3500 *Laramie version* with the front plastic air dam fully removed? Best regards Alan

According to Curt their Front Receiver # C31017 will not fit due to a different bumper. I did see where one person said they were able to make it fit but had to do some grinding to make it fit. Because of this you would be best to go with the Draw-Tite # 65046 as it does not require any modification.
