Replacement Flow Through Sensor for TST 507 Series TPMS Systems

Updated 09/09/2025 | Published 06/03/2025

Question:

I have a TST 507 TPMS system. I need to replace a sensor as it is leaking air. The one I have I bought in 2021 and it has TST, TAC4014 and SL-6, 2221 stamped on the sensor. The one I have you can use plastic and metal stems but all the ones I find say you have to use the metal for the flow through. Will this one work with the my plastic stem?? If not do you know where I can buy flow through that work on plastic.

Thanks for the picture and information Sandra. The correct replacement sensor for your TST 507 TPMS system is the Replacement E22 Flow Through Sensor for TST 507 Series item # TST67FR. I think you mean rubber valve stem and yes this sensor will work with it. Flow-through sensors tend to be a bit heavier and can cause rubber valve stems to fail over time so it's recommended to use steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems with these types of sensors. However, the item # TST67FR will function with a rubber valve stem.

Hey Sandra, did the replacement sensor work well with your rubber valve stem? I'm asking because your experience could help others who are considering similar replacements.
