Question:

We have a customer that has a Blu Ox tow bar on his motorhome that he pulls a jeep with, he is looking for a base plate to attach his 1962 chevy pickup to same tow bar, 28 !/4 inches outside to outside of frame rails on the pickup, is there a base plate by Blu ox for this?

No, there are no custom fit base plates for a truck that old. The only thing I can offer you is the Blue Ox Heavy-Duty Universal Bolt-On Adapter Tabs item # BX88266. These are compatible with Blue Ox tow bars and are a universal part. They bolt directly into the bumper which will likely require additional support to be added as well.

What about the Blu Ox bx88230?

@Pete The Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit item # bx88230 will work in the same way as item # BX88266, however they only have a 5,000 lbs weight capacity.
