When you’re not towing, this setup keeps your front end clear and factory-looking. The hidden design tucks in tight, so no brackets protrude past the front of your vehicle. The removable arms twist out easily, leaving only clean receiver openings that can be sealed with the included covers to keep dirt and debris out.
Connecting the arms is as simple as inserting each one into the base plate receiver, rotating it until it locks, and securing the pin. When you’re done towing, just pull the pin, rotate, and remove each arm. It’s a quick, tool-free process that makes solo hookups easy whether you’re at home or on the road.
This base plate bolts directly to the chassis—no welding required. Its sturdy design spreads towing force evenly across the frame to help prevent suspension stress. The durable steel construction is powder coated to resist rust and corrosion through years of travel and weather exposure.
The sturdy lugs pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure connection. With the right adapter (RM-031, RM-031-5, or DM9523041, sold separately), it also works with Roadmaster or Demco tow bars. Integrated mounting points make it easy to attach an electrical connector plug bracket (sold separately) so your wiring stays tidy up front.
The design keeps things properly aligned with a distance between brackets of 30-1/4" and a bracket height of 17". These specs make it simple to match up your tow bar height and plan out the rest of your flat-towing setup confidently.

Base plate worked great. Easy hookup and disconnect of tow vehicle.
Product was just as described. Instruction photos were a bit unclear which made things a bit hard to identify and locate but overall I'm completely satisfied with the product. Shipping was fast which allowed me to install on time and get on my cross country trip on time.

After I muddled my way past the first step which didn't apply to my vehicle (and confused the HECK out of me) thinks were well explained and went much faster than I thought they would.
My only complaint is what Blue Ox charges for them.

I wondered why they cost so much. Now that I have them I can see why, they are extremely heavy duty and very well made. They fit perfectly on my Yukon.

Just fine. Installation’s instructions were good tow brackets fit onto truck frame perfectly. The brackets were very well made, the welds are perfect.
Excellent quality and fitment!
The Tow Bar box was opened. I'm not sure if anything is missing.The other two boxes were sealed.
Very well built and sturdy base plate. Only complaint is slight fitment issue. Had to do considerable amount of grinding. Also drilling six 17/32 holes is not an easy task. I understand why they recommend having it done by a professional.
