Smaller Trailer Tire Than 215/75R14 w/ 5 on 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern To FIt in Garage

Updated 02/26/2024 | Published 02/20/2024

Question:

I’m bought a Coleman lantern lt 17b and it won’t fit in my garage. It misses by 4 inches. Is there a 10” tire rim combo I can by to put on just to store the camper?

What tire size do you have now? What is your wheel bolt pattern?

The tire size is 215/75R14. It’s a 5 by 4 1/2. It seems as if I would need a minimum of 5”. Is there a low profile tire or any other option to lower the camper. This would just be to get it in the garage for the winter. Thanks

@DomM Not if you need a minimum of 5 inches. The closest is 4-1/4 inches with the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM3H323. This is 18.2 inches in diameter compared to the 26.7 inches of your 215/75R14 (it would only lower it by half the difference). There isn't another way to lower your trailer, and this would be the most low-profile tire you can go.
