Question:
I have a 1172 Lance truck camper both slides are operated by a remote, no switches, can I hard wire switches? Instead of using the remote.

Expert Reply:
It may be possible to wire switches to the slide outs on your Lance truck camper. The Lippert Slide-Out Switch # LC117460 is made specifically for the LCI brand slides, and we do not have any kind of build sheet or specs that will tell us what kind of slide is on your lance camper or whether or not the switch would be compatible. Adding a switch would require you to disconnect the remote receiver and wire two separate switches. Our suggestion is to contact a Lance camper dealership and see how they advise going about doing this or if they have a specific switch they recommend.
