Where does the electrical cable connect to this base plate, or does it? That is, the connection that goes to the taillights of the toad. I have already purchased the wiring kit, RM 15267. I hope that is the right one. I have a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland model.

The two posts you see sticking out from the crossmember of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521440-5 allow for a 6-pole socket included with the # RM-15267 to bolt directly to them. Both the baseplate and wiring you picked out are a compatible fit. If you haven't picked out your tow bar and braking system then I have the following recommendations:
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables included so you won't have to purchase them separately. The head and shank also offer a bit of adjustability to help keep the tow bar level between the motorhome and Jeep.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then I recommend the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This system has an indicator light that will need to tap into your Jeep's brake light switch, which unfortunately isn't useable so you'll need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751449 in order to simulate this signal for the light.
If your motorhome has air brakes then you'll need the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 instead. This uses a reed switch so you won't have to install the stop light switch kit for the indicator light with this system.
