Troubleshooting and Fuse Location on Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave
Updated 11/14/2024 | Published 02/23/2023 >
Question:
Furrion microwave/convection oven FMCM15-SS you say has fuses. If my husband is going to see if the problem is a fuse then we have to take the microwave down. Is that correct? The convection part is the problem. When I go to use like a temperature of 400 It heats up then goes back to what it seems is heating up again. Sorry if this does not make sense

There is indeed a built-in fuse on the Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave part # FMCM15SS, it's located at the upper right hand corner on the back of the unit. Therefore, the unit would need to be removed in order to access the fuse. The fuse however wouldn't be responsible for the problem you described, the fuse will control power to the unit so it either turns on or it doesn't.
I have also attached for you below the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual. The microwave is covered under a one year warranty so any issues inside the period would be covered otherwise you'd need to replace the unit on your own.

Our convection oven no longer heats up. It acts like it is on but does not heat. Microwave works great. It is two years old
