Would The HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jacks Be Used To Lift A 24' Camper Box
Updated 01/22/2024 | Published 01/20/2024 >
Question:
I have a custom 24ft camper box that is well under the weight rating of these jacks that I need to lift off a flatbed trailer. Can these jacks be mounted on front and back 24ft apart and 8ft apart side to side? Also do the jacks plug together when lifting is needed then disconnect when not needed?

The HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack System # LC736515-ELKIT comes with two 20' long wire harnesses and two 10' long wire harness which would connect to the jacks and run over to the control module. Depending on where you mount the control module you should be able to get a 24' spacing between the jacks. These jack would have to be hardwired but the connector for the jacks is just a 2-pole connector that can easily be disconnected if needed. As long as you stay under the capacity of the jacks you shouldn't have an issue. Just remember that these jacks are only for lifting and shouldn't be used to fully support the weight of the trailer in storage for a long period of time.
