Question:
I have a 2018 Grey Wolf 19SM and I have run into the Dometic 300 toilet smell issue. Ive attempted the seal trick as seen on Youtube and now the problem has presented itself again. I want to replace the Dometic 300 with the 310. I have about 8.5-9 inches of rough-in. Will the 310 fit? If not, what are my other options?

Expert Reply:
Dometic's 310 Series RV toilets require a 10" rough-in so you'll be limited to either the 300 series (8.5" rough-in) or 301 series (8.75" rough-in) # DOM24FR. The 300 series line has been known to have issues with smell so the best alternative at this time would be to switch to the # DOM24FR.
