The Westlake tire 235/75R/15 plus the phoenix wheel stats the wheel is rated for 2200 lbs and the tire at 2910. Isn’t the wheel under sized?

You are correct the Westlake ST235/75R15 Radial Tire w 15" Phoenix Aluminum Wheel # LH52FR has a higher capacity tire than the wheel. This is often the case as many prefer to step up the weight capacity of the tire as they feel it helps the tire last longer. Also understand you typically will not see a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern on an axle with a capacity over 4,000lbs so the wheels are still going to have a higher capacity then the axle they are mounted too.

Since the Tire # WST54FR can fit other 15" wheels with the higher 6 lug bolt pattern those will have a higher capacity.
