Is a Tire Running at 130 Degrees Fahrenheit Normal

I have 2023 geo pro 19 fbs with Westlake cr857+ st 235/75r15. At outside temp they are running at 130 degrees T 60 mph. Is that normal temp?

A typical tire should run around 158 degrees Fahrenheit once the tire is warmed up going down the road. So 130 degrees on a tire like the Westlake ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire # WST54FR is just fine. This can obviously vary depending on the weight of the trailer, how fast you're traveling, driving habits. While 130 is probably "normal", it isn't really a standard to try to stay at.
I would say that you want to avoid hitting the 167 degree mark, that is usually when problems start to arise when you go over that. 200 degrees is when you need to stop and check things out.

I have the same camper and tire. How much should the psi increase as the tire warms up? I had mine at 63psi cold and they were averaging 70-71psi at 122 degrees F. I think I need to adjust the alarm threshold for my tpms unit. Thanks
