Question:
Looking to replace a Westlake CR 857+ ST235/75R15 118/113L for my 2021 Palomino Real-Lite travel trailer. I understand my current tire is a Load E rating, but the one you list indicates a load D rating. Will it matter if I have a load E on one side and a load D on the other? Do you sell this tire as a Load E?

Hey Maggie,
The only tires we carry in that 235/75/R15 size are load range D. The load range E ones we carry are a 225/75/R15 # LHWL304, which is simply just smaller in width by 10mm than your original size. It will still fit your application, it is just going to be less wide.
It is okay to run different load range tires on each side for a short term solution, but it is not recommended to run long term. The lower rated tires are going to run hotter more the higher rated ones. Different load ranges and overheating can effect the tires performance so you want to ideally run all four tires at the same load range.
Are you just needing one new tire or are you wanting to change all 2/4?

Hey Maggie, Did you decide to go with the load range D tire for your travel trailer, or are you considering switching to the load range E option? I'm asking because your experience could help others who are in a similar situation.
