Question:

I'd like to add a tow hitch to my 2022 Range Rover Sport. Initially it's for a bike rack but I'd also like to eventually tow with it so I think it might be worth adding the wiring while I'm at it. Does this make sense to you?

It definitely makes sense, and if you do plan on towing with your 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport I think it's a fantastic idea to install the wiring at the same time. For a hitch and wiring I recommend the following:
