Question:

Looking at this Stealth Hitches for my 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV. What is the Towing capacity of this hitch? It only lists Tongue weight 600. Thanks

There is no towing capacity listed for the Stealth Hitch # SH99MR because this hitch cannot be used for towing. The # SH99MR comes with the 2" receiver attachment which is for hitch mounted accessories only, like a bike rack or cargo carrier. In order to tow with the Stealth Hitch, you will need to purchase the Stealth Hitch Towing Kit # SH92MR. The ball mount attachment included with this kit will allow you to tow a trailer. This will give you a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. The towing kit also includes your trailer wiring harness.

Is the wiring harness included in the kit an active harness OEM for the KIA EV6? The one in the video looks different than the oem one, and I would like to use the connector that comes by default in the kia rather than to extend the cable to the battery. Thanks. Also, have is there any way to cover the hitch where neither the towing nor the 2" receiver are installed? a 12 inch is a huge hole that will allow all dirt, water and snow to come in

@Motorstock Hello. The wiring harness that comes with the # SH92MR towing kit is a passive harness. Meaning it is not connected to the vehicles computer. You will need to run a wire to the battery to power the module. Sadly, we do not have any kind of bumper cover available that will go with this vehicle.
