If I were to add a 1 1/8" shank ball to this, what would the max rated tounge weight be?

Hi Tyson; the tongue weight rating for the BulletProof Light Duty Drop Tang for Adjustable Ball Mount # BPH66VR will depend on the adjustable ball mount you're attaching it too. Also, this is designed to work with the Bulletproof 1-7/8" # BPH93RR, 2" BPH43RR, or 2-5/16" # BPH63RR. All of these have a 1" diameter shank. A larger shank won't fit since this has a 1" ball hole diameter.
