You don’t have to sacrifice style to carry your gear. This hitch installs behind the bumper so the cross tube stays out of sight, leaving your vehicle’s lines looking just as clean as before. When you’re done hauling bikes or cargo, the 2" receiver detaches with no tools, and you can pop in the included hitch plug to keep dirt and debris out. It looks factory fresh even when the hitch is off.

No special equipment or complicated steps here. The rack receiver latches securely into the stainless steel center block and locks in place with an integrated key. When it’s time to remove it, just turn the handle and lift it free—no tools required. The hitch mounts using existing connection points, so you don’t have to drill or weld, and it won’t affect your vehicle’s crumple zones or ground clearance.

Made from durable stainless steel with a black powder coat finish, this hitch is tough enough for heavy bike racks or cargo carriers. It’s rated for a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs and meets SAE J684 safety regulations for strength and reliability. The solid center block keeps your accessories stable while the corrosion-resistant finish helps it stand up to weather and road grime over time.
If you ever decide to tow, you can add the Stealth Hitches towing kit (SH62MR - sold separately). It replaces the rack receiver with a ball mount that includes a 2" hitch ball and wiring for towing up to 8,000 lbs gross trailer weight. You get a hidden system that grows with how you use your vehicle—rack today, tow tomorrow.

The hardest part of installing a Stealth Hitch is usually taking apart the rear of the vehicle and getting everything put back together correctly. They take us quite a bit of time here in our shop as well, so you are definitely not alone there! What do you mainly plan on using the hitch for, Gary?
