Question:
Hello, The trailer hitch on my vehicle is recessed behind the bumper by about 5". I am looking for a heavy duty adjustable ball mount that will clear the bumper. I tried a friends weigh safe ball mount and it was much too "short" and it hit the bumper before I could get the pin thru. need about 5" of rise and at least 12K capacity. 2" hitch.. Do you offer anything that will work?

I am happy to say that we do offer an adjustable ball mount that will work perfectly for this purpose. I recommend the BulletProof Hitches 2-Ball Mount # HD204. This ball mount measures 6" from the hitch pin hole to the welded gusset plate on the back of the channel. So you will have about 1" of space between the ball mount and your bumper once installed. The ball mount itself provides up to 5-1/2" rise and is rated for 22,000 lbs when used with the 2-5/16" ball, or 12,000 lbs with the 2" ball.
