The adjustable channel is made of 5/16" thick, laser-cut steel plates. These steel plates can handle high capacities without bending. And because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently sized pin holes, so you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.
Two 1/2" thick steel gussets are welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount and keeping the channel from bending, even at the maximum drop or rise.
The solid steel shank is CNC -chamfered, making it easy to slide the shank into and out of your hitch receiver. And with no sharp edges on the shank, the powder coating is less likely to chip and peel.
Each adjustable mount includes a 2-ball platform, which fits in the adjustable channel. The 2 hitch balls are welded onto the solid steel platform for maximum strength and stability.
Finally, the pins and clips included with the ball mount are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load. And the zinc finish provides corrosion resistance.
<>To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 2" x 2" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pins and clips to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pins and clips, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pins and clips to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.

Instead of using the included ball to tow, you can install a weight distribution shank (358WEIGHTDIST) in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today I'm with Catherine from BulletProof Hitches and we've got a few of your products here set up. Let's go through 'em. What all do you have All right, so starting here we've got our medium duty hitch in a two inch shank. This is a two inch drop. It is rated for up to 14,000 pounds. It comes standard with a dual ball that has a two inch ball on one side and a two and 5/16th ball on the other side.
How much of a drop is that So this is considered our two inch drop. It has an overall length of eight inches, but we call it a two inch drop because it offers two inches of adjustability within the channel of the hitch. And also one great thing about all of our products is they can be used in the drop or the rise position without reducing any of the towing weight capacity, or the tongue weight capacity. This here is our heavy duty hitch. This specific one is on a two and a half inch receiver and this is a six inch drop.
This is rated for up to 22,000 pounds and up to 3000 pounds of tongue weight. Does come standard with the two and 5/16ths and the two inch ball. It does span over three holes on the pins on the heavy duty hitch and it does have a half inch thick steel gusset. And the hitch, shank of the hitch is a full solid steel shank that extends three inches past the second pin hole to completely fill the receiver tube. This one is our extreme duty hitch.
We are showing it here on the three inch shank. Our extreme duty models are available in two, two and a half or three inches. On the two inch shank it's rated for up to 30,000 pounds of towing weight. And on the two and a half and the three, it's rated for up to 36,000 pounds. And all three shank sizes are up to 6,000 pounds of tongue weight.
Brad Wow, super heavy duty. What's this coming in weight-wise Catherine So on this one, this one's about 50 pounds. Our heaviest hitch is a three inch shank, 12 inch drop, and it's over a hundred pounds. Brad I believe that. But capacities match up with that heavy weight. Absolutely, exactly. And the other thing to note about our extreme duty hitches, once you get into an eight inch and drop or more, you're going to start to see an additional down bar behind the gusset between this channel and the gusset. So that's just to help reinforce that weight, especially as you start to get into those large drops. Brad So obviously for heavy loads it's a heavy duty hitch, but also if I just tow randomly here and there and I don't have a ball mount on the back of my vehicle and I wanna stow it, you also have an option that's not as heavy. Correct. So this is our aluminum line. These are rated for up to 14,000 pounds and up to 2000 pounds of tongue weight. They are available in a two inch shank and a two and a half inch shank. So these come with a two and 5/16th and a two inch ball. It is adjustable in one inch increments. The drop sizes available are a two, a four and a six inch drop. On the six inch, alone, you can take the dual ball and rotate it and stow it behind the channel, but only on the six inch on this. And again, the same as our steel line, this can be used in the drop or the rise position and still maintain that same high weight capacity. Brad So we've covered two of the main sizes of balls, the two inch and two and five sixteenths. Correct. Brad Do you offer inch and seven eights We do. We offer that as a single ball attachment. We know it's not something that everybody needs or everybody uses, so we did the research and what most people are using is a two and two and 5/16ths, so that's what we offer as our standard dual ball. The one and 7/8ths single ball attachment is available and will work with any medium, heavy or extreme duty hitch. Love it. These are actually bulletproof, correct Yes sir, they are. So for a long time we would always get that question. I think we received over 15,000 comments or something crazy like that of people saying, well is it really bulletproof Have you shot it Yes, the truth is we have shot it. It is actually bulletproof.
