Can A SmartPlug Power Inlet Be Installed In A nuCamp T@b Teardrop Trailer

Question:
I have a Nucamp Tab tear with a round plug on the Rv for the power cord. Can the 30 amp smart plug kit be used to replace the round plug I have with a little modification? My plug only has three screws for mounting.

With the size of your trailer and you stating you only have three wires running to the power inlet you most likely have 30 amp service and would definitely be able to swap out the inlet with the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet and Connector # SM27FR. I've installed a few of these and have run into some issues with the cutout holes in the past and had to get a bit creative. Some times you just have to trim a bit more out for it to fit and some times the previous inlet was a bit wider and you'll need to make a cover plate to cover the hole and then mount the inlet to the plate. I've attached a short installation video below where I had to install a cover first so you can watch the video for some installation tips.
