Question:

I am thinking about buying the Kuat Piston SR Roof Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Wheel Mount - Aluminum Item # KU32VR. However I am unsure if this bike rack will accommodate my mountain bike. My mountain bike is a 29+. I know this rack says 29 so I just wanted to make sure because the 29+ is a little taller. Thanks In Advance!

Kuat does specify that a 29" tire is the largest tire that the Piston Pro SR # KU32VR will accommodate. In the case of a 29"+ tire It will still work well. The "+" refers to the width of the tire rather than the diameter. The 29+ tires are generally between 3" to 5" wide. The Piston Pro will accommodate larger tires, up to 5" wide. As long as your wheelbase is less than 53" you will still be able to ratchet each arm securely in to place.
