How to Determine Correct MORryde Cushioned Pin Box

Question:

Im interested in A MORryde pin box for my 2016 Durango K-Z model D281RLT DRY WGT.8,510 PAY LOAD 1990 GVWR 10,500 HITCH WGT. 1,490 I have A 2017 F-250 Super Duty Super cab for towing. This is 1st. Experience with 5th.wheel and the chucking drives me crazy I drove for UPS 32 years and dont care to get jerked around anymore!!! The Morryde fits my budget not sure which to purchase. Help? The bracket that holds pinbox has 4 bolts and 8 holes in front and 7 holes in the back.

We can help you get an upgraded MORryde cushioned pin box, and while we don't have a way to know exactly which one you need for your 2016 Durango K-Z, I can tell you how to identify the correct one. There are a couple of ways to do this, the first being to find the model number on a sticker or a plate somewhere on the pin box itself.

However, if that sticker or plate is not there, the other way to find out what pin box you have is by taking a few measurements. I have added a link below to a help article called "4 Steps to Choosing Your 5th Wheel Pin Box" and if you scroll down a bit in the article, it walks you through the measurements that are needed.

For example, if you had a Lippert 1621 or 1621HD pin box, since your trailer has a 10,500 lb GVWR you would need the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for Up to 11.5K Trailers w/ Lippert 1621 and 1621HD # MR64VR.
