I can definitely tell you the required tools, and I assure you, nothing wacky is needed for your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26VV.

All that you need to install this hitch on your '24 Grand Highlander is a ratchet, 19mm socket, torque wrench, and flathead screwdriver. The screwdriver is just used to remove a couple plugs on the frame rail where the bolts go, and the rest of the tools will simply torque down the included bolts. Then boom, you're doing installing the # C26VV.
