@Sky The Everchill RV Refrigerator w Freezer Drawers # EV87FR has a touch-screen control on the front of the unit. You'll just need to hold your figure on the lock button for 3 seconds to unlock the screen and then you can press on the +/- buttons on the screen to adjust the temperature.

@MikeJ Is yours lighting up at all or just completely dead and won't do anything? If it's not powering on at all then I would check that it's even getting power to it. You likely have a tripped breaker or blown fuse (depending on the model 12v/120v) and just need to restore power and then try to press and hold the unlock button for 3 seconds.

I have this fridge in my Eddie Bauer 33fk, and I’ve tried what you said and it won’t turn off. The only way I can turn it off is to kill the power to the trailer. It must be broken or something. It’s so frustrating not being able to turn it off.

@JamieP A “-88” showing on the external control panel of the Everchill SRM-418CBG-E usually points to the control board not getting a proper reading from one of the temperature sensors or a communication fault between the display and the main control board. It is not a normal operating display or temperature setting. I have also seen low voltage or a brief power interruption cause the panel to glitch and display strange readings like this. The first thing I would recommend trying is a full power reset on the refrigerator. Turn the fridge off completely, disconnect power to the RV if possible, and leave it off for about 5–10 minutes before powering everything back up. These Everchill units can be pretty sensitive to voltage fluctuations, so it would also be a good idea to check your battery voltage and make sure it is not dropping too low under load. If the display still shows “-88” after the reset, the next things I would look at would be the wiring connection to the display panel, the temperature sensor (thermistor), or possibly the main control board itself. If the refrigerator is still cooling normally, it may just be a display or communication issue. If it is not cooling properly, then it is more likely related to the sensor or control board. Let me know how it goes or if you notice any other symptoms and I can help narrow it down further.
