Recommended Kayak Trailer For Two Ocean Kayak Malibu Two Kayaks
Published 09/19/2023 >
Question:
Hi! I own two 2 Ocean Kayaks Malibu Two, one of them is an XL. I am looking for a trailer for hauling them both. The specs for them are: approx. 60 Lbs. and is 12foot long for the Malibu Two, while the XL weights approx. 70 Lbs., and is 134inch long. Both of them are about 34inch wide. Most of the time we transit via highways. I saw the Malone Mircosport with bunks and its Low bed version. Thanks ahead for any advice!

The Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks # MPG461B2 you were looking at would be a great option to haul your two kayaks. The bunks are adjustable so that you can get a perfect fit for the width of your kayaks and will make loading and unloading them much easier. If you ever wanted to haul more kayaks in the future then you could also remove the bunks and clamp on some carriers. This trailer can handle kayaks up to 20' in length with up to a 225lb per kayak capacity. The wheels are rated for highway speeds up to 70mph so you shouldn't have any issues travelling with the trailer.
I've attached a short video below where Colin will give you a look at the trailer and show you how to put it together.
