Can The Excel RV TanklessWater Heater Be Installed In A Bedroom Closet

Question:

It says not to install in a bedroom why is that I have a closet that is behind my old water heater and in between my shower and the bedroom there is a door with a vent to the outside where it should get fresh air my question is is it ok to install in that area cause it would be a lot easier to install on the bedroom closet wall

The Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR has an oxygen sensor that will force it to shut down if the area isn't vented enough. It's also just a safety precaution to not have anything that's propane powered and could potentially leak in the same place that you're sleeping. This unit requires 3" of clearance on the sides and 8" of clearance above as well so you'd likely lose storage space trying to maintain these clearances.

Personally, I don't recommend installing the unit in your bedroom closet for the safety aspect so I recommend looking elsewhere in the trailer.
