Question:

I have Moryde step above model STP-038SR-432-28, which is strut assisted. the stairs are 26inch wide outside to outside. I know I will lose the strut assist but can you tell me if this will fit and what the inside to inside dimension is where the stairs attach? I know it is 27 5/8 wide.

I spoke to MORryde about your steps and they informed me that you could convert to a removeable mounting plate by getting rid of the strut assist and you would then just need the Replacement Step Latch for MORryde Step Above RV Steps part # MR97BR and Removable Mounting Plate for MORryde StepAbove RV Steps part # MR79DR.
