Question:

Is there a replacement for this thermostat available that doesnt use the touch buttons? I have to leave the covers off of mine or else they wig out and change the temperature randomly. Not sure if its static causing the change or the little foam pieces inside the cover, but its incredibly annoying and doesnt allow them to function properly. Id very much like to go with an old school thermostat with a dial. The one I currently have has the Bluetooth logo on it and is for a single zone, A/C only system. Looks identical to this one except for the Bluetooth logo.

Unfortunately we do not offer any other Dometic brand thermostat, other than the # DMC79FR which does use touch buttons. This is actually a known issue with these Dometic thermostats. Removing the face plate usually will allow it to function normally. I have heard of several cases where folks have contacted Dometic and they have replaced components under warranty.
